Smokey’s Bike Shop is located on beautiful Quadra Island, British Columbia. After doing extensive research, Smokey made an excellent choice and ordered Ducoterra’s SolaRay far infrared heating panels from InfraredHeat.ca to supply his bike shop and mechanic school’s heating needs.
In operation since 2011, Quadra Bike School (QBS) offers professional-level bicycle mechanic training in small groups. Located on scenic Quadra Island on the west coast of Canada, QBS is run by Smokey Dymny, a bicycle mechanics instructor with over 20 years of experience.
QBS trains students to meet the demands and challenges of working bike shops. The five weeks students spend at the facility allows them to immerse themselves in the theory and practical study of ‘real world’ bicycle mechanics.
