SI Series Aluminum Far Infrared Panels

Designed and manufactured in France and the USA for us, our Si Series aluminum far infrared panels can be installed in commercial, residential and institutional environments; installation can be as simple as plugging the panel into a wall outlet (used with an outlet thermostat) or these may be installed as a system (hard-wired). Panels are available in either 120 volts or 240 volts (USA and Canada) with power levels of 400 watts, 800 watts, or 1100 watts.

Spectrum Infrared’s Si Series far infrared panels are in housings constructed with aluminum and are 100% recyclable. The mounting brackets are steel, and are also 100% recyclable. The proprietary design creates a lightweight, durable product while providing the best far infrared heat transfer possible. Our Si Series of aluminum far infrared panels have a life expectancy of 30+ years.

Our Si Series of panels are ETL certified with the “c” and “us” mark, signifying that the products bearing the mark comply with both U.S. and Canadian product safety standards.

Installed as a system:
A system typically contains a number of Si Series far infrared panels, thermostats, relays and possibly a transformer (if using our 24 volt hot yoga thermostat) to control the panels. Panels may be wall‐mounted or may be mounted onto the ceiling. Our 2′ x 4′ panels are exactly 23.5″ x 47″ and will fit in a suspended ceiling grid with appropriate spacers installed. If the ceiling is higher than 10 feet (3.04 meters), the panels can be installed as perimeter heat (mounted at 45 degree angles in the upper corners) or even suspended from light chain or light wire.

The typical installed wattage is 6.5 to 10.0 Watts per square foot with an 8′ ceiling (depending on building insulation, geographical location, building materials and panel placement).
